My friend Lucky has a new Etsy site and blog. I can't believe how totally cute her stuff is. I covet it all!!!!! If someone looking to get me something, I want the little girl with the backpack and her owl friend.

We've been hanging here in Mpls. The weather has been cold and windy. Not much fun to be at the lake. D's sister is coming the second week in Aug and the whole family will be down at the lake. Hope the weather cooperates.

Con goes to YMCA day camp next week. I have heard that they get back and they are wiped out. CAn't wait!!!!! He is 9th on the list for 1st grade at the Chinese school. I can't decide which way I'm leaning.

Piper asked me today when the next kid is getting here. I pretended she was talking to my friend Layla.

Cormac is 4 days into all unders. A couple of accidents when I wasn't paying attention.

Well the race is over and we took 6th place. Not as high as last year, but there was two semi-pro teams paddling this year and half the team was new. It was just as fun, and heck getting a trophy is always fun. The Dragon Boat Festival is one of my all time favorite events. The video was put together by another FCC mom, Sue Barrett. You probably won't know many of the kids in the beginning, but she got some great race photos, so hang on till the end.

I haven't had any time to post from the lake.  We are busy swimming, swimming and swimming.  Piper went tubing for the first time this past 4th weekend.  She is a tubing monster now.  Connor learned how to use flippers and is cruising around "looking at stuff".  Cormac is doing his standing version of the cannon ball.  The fireworks were amazing over the lake.  Our next door neighbor set off $1200 worth of fireworks.  We will be back in town for the weekend Dragon Boat Festival.  Come and cheer us on.
