No pictures today, as the latest video is of the kids in the bathtub. Cormac, out of the blue has started sticking his face in the water and then totally giggles. When I say sticks his face in the water, I mean totally under. We heard that the Ami tribe are water people, but it's too early at 17 months to start swimming underwater. We had a great time Sat morning at the Zoo with our friends MB and Emma. We traveled with MB and her husband when we received Piper. The girls are from the same orphanage in Fuling, China. We got to see the baby animals at the zoo farm. I've decided I'm turning into my dad. He can go ANY where and end up knowing someone. Yesterday at the zoo, I saw Tracy and her daughter Muriel and Annette and her daughter Genevieve, Kari B who graduated with me from high school and Katie and Brian and their two kids, who used to live two houses away. The really funny thing was to run into Katie and Brian and kids later that night at a totally different place. I took Connor and Piper to "Horton Hears a Who" They thought is was really funny. Piper however, as usual, was really concerned where the little kangaroos daddy was. She has a hard time with kids or babies with no apparent parents present. The zoo was another problem as all the baby animals didn't have their moms or dads right there. We've had a great weekend as the weather was really nice today.

This is the concert that the children have been practicing to play for their dad. I don't really understand why the big kids had to sit in bowls for this, but I was assured that it would sound better.

I love the "hehehehehe" look that he's giving me. Piper loves him and all, but she doesn't love sharing much with Cormac. After much negotiations, she agreed to let him sit in her chair with her. She will share most of her food, crayons, and stuffed animals, but not the chair or her beloved "JJ Yeley". (NASCAR for all you uninformed)

Today we went outside to get a little bit dirty. Cormac had other ideas!!!!!!!!!

Lets get as dirty as possible.

It's kinda hard to see whats going on, but Cormac thinks it really fun to play ring around the rosie. He watches the big kids hold hands and run in a circle and then joyfully joins in the all fall down.

He now says "Up, Mama" if I ask what the kitty says, he will answer "meow meow". The other day I told him he needed pants if he was going to go outside and he ran into his room and opened his pants drawer and pulled out some pants and sat down so I could get his pants on him. He will run to his room and point to his coat and lay his socks on top of his feet to "help" me!!! He thinks it's really funny to stick out his tongue and is starting to be able to get food on his fork by himself. He makes me laugh all the time. All the kids were so different when they were little. Connor was so serious. He lined up all his toys and was always trying to figure stuff out. Piper was so scared for the longest time. Cormac is just so full of laughter.

So Con and daddy have been playing a lot of football. They came downstairs this morning to show me their new football helmets. Not too many style points, but lots of points for originality. This is them giving fierce football looks.

The look that Piper gives me is an actual eyeroll. A visual "what ever!!!!"

This is what happens at our house a lot. Connor says it's super fun. I think it may be a photo finish at the end.
My first thought when I turned around and saw this was "Man, boys do not know how to put on lipgloss!!!!"

Then this one came out of the bathroom and I couldn't tell if she was being beautiful or having a nose bleed.

So, we've gone with the "g" diaper system and it's going really well. http://www.gdiapers.com/shop/ Several friends and acquaintances have talked about going with cloth diapers. I can't make myself go whole cloth, but this seemed like a great alternative. The inserts that are just urine soaked can be composted here in the summer, for our garden. They have gotten the Cradle to Cradle award and are super easy to use. We have had to rinse out the liner a couple of times as it got poop on it, but it rinses out well and dries in about ten mins. D thinks they are easy and thinks its great they completely breakdown in about 100 days. They have a set up kit for $26.99. Give them a try!!!!!! On the tooth front we've had a literal breakthrough!!!! In his typical, I'm not going to go the normal route, Cormac's fifth and sixth teeth are his upper molars!!!!
